What we collect when you use miloradairy.com, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it.

Updated

This policy explains what personal data Milora Dairy collects through miloradairy.com, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it. Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, we are the Data Fiduciary for this data.

Milora Dairy, Plot No. A/21/14A, Ground Floor, Udhna Udhyognagar, Road No. 10, opposite Kotak Mahindra Bank, Udhna, Surat 394210, Gujarat, India.

What we collect

When you contact us

The contact form asks for your full name, your phone number and what you would like to talk about.

When you send an order inquiry

The order form asks for your name, phone number and email address; your delivery address (house or flat and street, area, locality, city and pincode); the delivery date and time slot you prefer; and the products and quantities in your bag. We add a reference number so we can find your inquiry when we call.

When you browse

  • Server logs. Like every website, our servers record technical details of each visit (IP address, browser, the page asked for and the time) to keep the site running and secure.
  • Meta Pixel. We use Meta Pixel, a tool from Meta Platforms, which sets cookies and sends Meta details of your visit (pages viewed, device, browser and IP address) so we can measure and improve our advertising.
  • Your browser's storage. The products in your bag, and a few display settings (such as whether an animation has already played), are saved in your own browser. They stay on your device and are not sent to us until you send an inquiry.

We do not take card or bank details on this website. You pay by cash or UPI when your order is delivered.

Why we use it

  • To answer your messages and call you back.
  • To confirm your order by phone, deliver it to your address and collect payment.
  • To check whether we deliver to your pincode, using India Post's public pincode directory (only the pincode is looked up).
  • To keep the records the law requires of a food business, such as invoices.
  • To measure our advertising (Meta Pixel).
  • To keep the website secure and working.

We use the details you type into a form because you give them to us for that purpose when you send it. You can withdraw that consent at any time (see Your rights). Withdrawing does not affect what we did before, and we may need some details to finish an order already under way.

Who we share it with

  • Our delivery staff, who need your name, phone number and address to bring your order.
  • Infiniqe Marketing, who built this website and run the system that stores form submissions, on our behalf and under our instructions.
  • India Post's pincode directory, which receives the pincode you enter, and nothing else.
  • Meta Platforms, through Meta Pixel, as described above.
  • Government authorities, when the law requires it.

We do not sell your personal data.

How long we keep it

We keep your details only as long as we need them for the purpose you gave them for, and then delete them, unless the law requires us to keep them longer (for example, tax and invoice records).

Cookies

This website sets no cookies of its own. Meta Pixel sets cookies (such as _fbp) to recognise your browser across visits. You can block or delete cookies in your browser's settings, and manage how Meta uses your data in your Facebook or Instagram ad preferences.

How we protect it

The site is served only over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and access to form submissions is limited to the people who need them to answer you and deliver your order. No system is perfectly secure, but we follow reasonable security practices, and if a breach affects your data we will tell you and the Data Protection Board of India as the law requires.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • tell you what personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
  • correct, complete or update it;
  • delete it, unless the law requires us to keep it;
  • stop using it, by withdrawing your consent;
  • name someone to exercise these rights for you if you die or become unable to.

Write to our Grievance Officer (below). We will acknowledge your request within 48 hours and resolve it within one month. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Children

This website is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18 without the consent of a parent or guardian. If you believe a child has sent us their details, write to us and we will delete them.
